Profile:
· Bachelor degree in Accounting, Economics, Management or similar (mandatory)
· Proficiency in English (mandatory)
· Professional experience in GL over 6 years in a SSC or GBS environment
· 3+ years people management (mandatory)
· Deep Knowdlege of IFRS and GAAP guidelines
· Project planning and project management skills
· Strong Leadership and People Management skills;
· Planning and Organisation skills;
· Persuasiveness and Negotiation skills;
· Knowledge in Internal Controls and/or SOX compliance preferred
Tasks:
· Responsible for GL department with people responsibility and ownership of GL processes;
· Determine structure and division of tasks within the GL department;
· Establish quantitative and qualitative targets for the department and the team members;
· Conduct evaluation meetings and provide direction where necessary;
· Final responsible for accurate and timely period end closing;
· Final responsible for timely reporting of monthly financial information;
· Coordinate the implementation and monitoring of internal control processes in GL department;
· Supervise annual and interim audits
